Back in 1987, Tatio released The Ninja Warriors, an arcade side-scrolling action game. Fast forward to 2019 and ININ, a publishing label of United Games Entertainment GmbH has announced that The Ninja Saviors - Return of the Warriors is heading to the US this month after a delay.

This remaster of Tatio's beat 'em up arcade classic is heading to North and South America digitally after previously being released in Europe earlier this year. Tengo Project has introduced better audio and visuals to The Ninja Saviors - Return of the Warriors. It also introduces new animations and revised 16-bit pixel art but still retains the classic SNES style.

The Ninja Saviors - Return of the Warriors has players taking control of one of five android ninjas who go against the antagonist, Banglar and his numerous henchmen across eight levels. There are two new characters that are introduced to the game, Raiden and Yaksha, as well as a brand new two-player co-op mode complete with an online ranking system.

On launch day, a special day one physical edition will be available in stores for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch and will cost $29.99. The physical edition will come with not only the game, but also a printed manual, stickers, and a poster. Due to the delayed launch to the US, there will also be a compensation gift which introduces two-character cards of the new characters, Raiden and Yaksha. These cards are exclusive to North America.
