The Outer Worlds is one of the best action RPGs to be released within recent years. It was such a success that people want the developers to either make a sequel or return to Fallout and make another game. The game also has some of the most fun and memorable side quests to go along with its great main quest.

There are so many side quests in the game, and it can be hard to decide which ones are more important than the others. You really should check out as many as you can, but here are the best that you shouldn't miss out on.

10 Fistful Of Digits

This is one of the earliest side quests you can get in the game, yet it is still one of the most memorable. You are tasked by Constable Reyes of Edgewater to track down and clear out three separate marauder camps and bring back proof of killing their leaders. One of the leaders also has the chance to drop a unique weapon called "Blad on Stik."

Clearing the camps rewards you with a lot of experience, gear, and weapons to help you start out in the early game. You receive even more experience and credits when the quest is completed, plus improved Spacer's Choice reputation.

9 The Secret People

This quest is one of the most unexpected additions to the game. Without spoiling too much, you are asked to investigate why a man hasn't shown up to work in a few days. Things take a turn for the worst when cannibals become involved and your character gets stuck right in the middle of it.

This quest has quite the chilling turn as well as some suspense near the end of the quest. The quest giver is Velma from Stellar Bay on the planet Monarch. This quest can also reward you with the Supper Time melee weapon.

8 A Family Matter

This is another quest found in the early game area of Stellar Bay. You are tasked by Agnes Needham to search for her son, who may have joined the Iconoclasts. If you find him alive, you are asked to convince him to return to his mother. This quest has the typical two choice options; actually get her son to return home, or lie to her and show proof that her son died.

There are also some twists and turns that will happen along the way that you should experience for yourself. Whatever option you choose, you will be rewarded with credit chips and XP.

7 Makes Space Suits, Won't Travel

Makes Space Suits, Won't Travel is an endgame quest that is found in the city of Byzantium. This quest is all about a famous fashion designer who wants to know what people outside the city wear. You start by modeling a few space suits for her, and then eventually find rare materials to help her make a unique suit for your character.

The quest is quite tedious, but the reward at the end is well worth all the running around the galaxy. It will give you the unique Chimera outfit, which is one of the best in the game.

6 The Empty Man

The Empty Man is one of the greatest companion quests in the game. It is all about learning Vicar Max's backstory and him dealing with killing all the enemies that the two of you have fought. The two of you also go on a drug induced vision quest to help Max come to terms with his new life.

By the end of the quest, his personality will completely change, and he will get along better with you and the rest of the crew of the Unreliable. The quest is quite long, but you will enjoy every minute of it due to the hilarity and character development.

5 Slaughterhouse Clive

This is another quest you can take on Monarch that tasks you with killing one of Monarch's most devious meat dealers of Sublight Salvage & Shipping. There are multiple ways to finish this quest that offer a few different rewards. You could simply kill Clive, the maniac in question, or hear him out and maybe end up siding with him and going against Sublight.

Saying too much more about this quest will spoil the surprise that you should definitely experience for yourself. Whatever way you complete it, you will be rewarded with a unique helmet.

4 Why Call Them Back From Retirement?

This quest is another unique and yet eerily dark look into what goes on with those that work for The Board. The quest is given by Hortense Ingalsbee and entirely takes place in the city of Byzantium.

During this side quest, you will investigate The Board's secretive Retirement District and find out that it is not entirely how it seems. There are a few ways to complete this quest, and you should investigate this macabre for yourself to understand what is truly going on in dark corners of Byzantium.

3 Weapons From The Void

This side quest is one of the longest and most rewarding quests in the game. Weapons From The Void helps you track down all the Science Weapons in the game. Most of them are actually useful, but some are just for fun, like the Shrink Ray.

This quest will also take you most of the game to complete because some are locked behind story progression. This is a glorified fetch quest, but is still one of the best in the game.

2 Passion Pills

This is another Monarch quest, but it is related to another possible companion, Nyoka. She suffers from PTSD and survives off of pills and alcohol to keep her mind sedated. Passion Pills is all about helping Nyoka find her dose of pills to keep happy.

After completing this quest, Nyoka will join your crew, and you will eventually have the option of exploring other options of relief for her — or keep her addiction going. This is a moral issue that will resonate with anyone who has dealt with addiction.

1 Don't Bite The Sun

Parvati and Junlei On A Date During The Don't Bite The Sun Quest In The Outer Worlds

This is the most wholesome and memorable quest in the game. Don't Bite The Sun is all about helping your companion, Parvati, get ready for her first date with someone she truly cares about. You help her find an outfit, makeup, and help her get dinner and desert ready for her date.

This is the last quest in Parvati's quest line and is a great way to finish her story development. You will not regret becoming a part of this beautiful love story and making love possible in the darkness of The Outer Worlds.
