This afternoon during Microsoft's E3 2019 briefing, Obsidian and Private Division's The Outer Worlds appeared and in the process, we finally learned of the game's release date.

The Outer Worlds is now slated to launch on Xbox One, PS4, and PC later this year on October 25, 2019. The game was always said to arrive within this calendar year and this date holds true to that promise.

Alongside the release date announcement, a new trailer for The Outer Worlds was also released during the conference. The trailer highlights more of the world and characters that we will come across upon playing the game. You can also see some new gameplay footage and combat for a bit in this video as well, and everything seems to be coming together.
