The Persona 5 Announcement Broadcast Was Watched By 1.23 Million Gamers, More Info Promised

The broadcast that culminated with the announcement of Persona 5 on PS3 was one of the best game-related hype trains of the last few years, delivered in a near-perfect way, with a slow build-up and a good dose of deception.

I was personally pretty sure that Persona 5 would have come, but the three announcements before it almost managed to make me doubt my intuition, which was exactly the point of the whole ordeal. After that, the actual big hitter was much more effective.

Looks like I’m not the only one that appreciated the broadcast, as Atlus announced today with a press release that yesterday the channel reached 1,237,544 million viewers and 858,819 comments.

In addition to that, the developer also promised new information coming on the former teaser site, now turned into portal for all things Persona, including Persona 5,  PersonaQ, Persona 4: Dancing All Night and Persona 4: The Ultimax – Ultra Suplex Hold.
