OGPlanet’s upcoming retro style racer, Chibi Kart is test driving into its first beta on October 27th and to entice prospective gamers, the company is giving players a chance to win prize packs up to $50 in OGPlanet’s virtual currency (Astros).

In the style of Mario Kart, Chibi Kart combines customization (players can purchase karts, engines, accessories, style, tires) and social features of an MMO that will have players competing in a variety of game modes such as classical speed, time trial, ghost, and item mode where players can transform fellow racers into turtles or blocks of ice.

Co-op mode allows players to invite friends to form a kart racing crew to compete against other crews in team races.

In honor the game’s beta, a trailer has been released which can be viewed below.
