The Sacrifice DLC Gets a Release Date

September 27, 2010

With the second installment of “The Sacrifice” comic out and two more to go, Valve has released the date for the DLC the comic was based off of.  The Sacrifice, which will be released for both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 will be out on October 5 2010 for the PC, Mac and Xbox 360.  People wanting to buy it for the Xbox will have to shell out 560 Microsoft Points ($7) for each pack, but thing to note is that the packs are exactly the same for each game, so unless you want to complete your DLC collection both games, it’s be wise to only buy one. PC and Mac users have the benefit of getting the DLC for free.

This new DLC will feature the characters from both games together and will flesh out the story behind the death of a character brought up in The Passing.
