Harvest Moon: Connecting New Lands, the next title in the long-running series, will include new Safari and Ranch features. A new set of screenshots have also been released.

After a certain point in the game the Safari feature will be available, which lets players place their wild animals in various habitats. You can customize the environments, like making them into icebergs or mountains, in order to make your animals comfortable. In the annual town festival, your character can guide other villagers in a Safari tour. This tour gives you access to a special item that can only be mined there, such as rare ore for crafting accessories.

Players can also build an animal ranch to keep animals such as chickens, cows and sheep. This allows you to acquire products such as eggs, milk and wool on a daily basis. Taking good care of them, by brushing them and feeding them everyday, will net you higher quality products. Not only that, players can keep cats, dogs and horses as pets.

Check out the screens below for a closer look at the new features.
