Following several rumors surfacing the internet over the last few weeks, today Ubisoft Entertainment officially announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth would officially be re-released on current generation consoles.

According to the press release, South Park: The Stick of Truth will be re-released on February 13, 2018, for $29.99. Although South Park: The Stick of Truth was already available (digitally) for current-gen systems for those who pre-ordered South Park: The Fractured But Whole, this will be the first time the title has officially received a physical release on eight generation hardware.

Initially released on March 4, 2014, for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 South Park: The Stick of Truth is a role-playing game co-developed by Obsidian Entertainment and South Park Digital Studios. Gamers control the new kid, who has recently moved to the titular Colorado town and gets involved in an epic fantasy war featuring humans, elves, and wizards who are all fighting to acquire the mighty Stick of Truth.
