The Swindle Will Let You Pull Off Heists on the Go Next Month on Nintendo Switch

Size Five Games and Curve Digital have partnered to bring The Swindle to Nintendo Switch on October 11.

Back in 2015, Size Five Games released The Swindle on several platforms. Today, over three years after the game’s initial release, the developers have revealed have partnered with publisher Curve Digital to bring The Swindle to Nintendo Switch next month.

The Swindle will be available on the hybrid console on October 11 and will only cost players $14.99. That being said, those who pre-order the game on the eShop will receive a 20% discount. For those of you who aren’t aware, The Swindle is a procedurally generated heist game set in London. Due to this, no two heists that a player does will ever be the same, taking advantage of every special ability and tools players have and can upgrade after every mission.

Size Five Games Founder Dan Marshall commented on how excited he is to see The Swindle grace a new system:

“The Nintendo Switch release of The Swindlewill speak to the most nefarious of players, I suspect. Taking their Switch out into public will present the rarest of opportunities: robbery in broad daylight. We hope players seize the moment and enjoy the game in these bite sized portions as well as at home.”

It’s not secret that the Nintendo Switch is a great home to indies. Several titles are highlighted in Nindies showcases, and Curve Digital themselves actively support the system with games like Human: Fall Flat, Smoke and Sacrifice, Velocity 2X, and the upcoming Mark of the Ninja: Remastered. Curve Digital Product Manager Jakub Kliitenik also seems to think that The Swindle is a great fit for the system:

The Swindle is a firm office favourite at Curve. I can’t wait for Nintendo Switch players to get a taste for the dark side of crime capers and risk it all for the big score. There’s every chance it will steal the hearts of Switch players around the world.”

You can check out the game’s Nintendo Switch announcement trailer below. The Swindle is currenlty available on PC, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U, and will be adding Nintendo Switch to that hefty lineup on October 11.
