Combining lush, beautiful visuals with a compelling mystery, The Astronauts’ The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was a favorite among last year’s indie titles on PC and now those looking for a dose of disappearance cases on PS4 will be able to jump into one of last year’s most unique titles starting next week.

A new post on the PlayStation Blog from developer The Astronauts revealed that The Vanishing of Ethan Carter will release for PS4 on Tuesday, July 14th, 2015, following its announcement back at Gamescom 2014 that the game would be coming to PS4 this year.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is an exploration and narrative-based game that follows detective Paul Prospero on the case behind the disappearance of a young boy named Ethan Carter in the scenic mountains of Red Creek Valley. However, along the way Prospero begins to find unusual ties and connections to the strange and supernatural, utilizing an ability to view events from the past to piece together the case at hand.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is currently available for PC, with the game to release for PS4 on July 14th, 2015 – in the meantime, you can check out the game’s PS4 release trailer below:
