The Walking Dead: The Final Season – Episode 3 is Coming in January 2019; Being Made by Developer StillNotBitten
After the fallout from Telltale Games' closure, The Walking Dead: The Final Season will continue on with its next episode in January 2019.
After a tumultuous time for Telltale Games in the past few months leading to the studio’s closure this past fall, the fate of The Walking Dead: The Final Season was up in the air with the season having only been two episodes in. However, the Kinda Funny Games Showcase confirmed that we’ll see the next episode of the series in the very near future.
In a trailer shown at the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, the next episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season — called “Broken Toys” — was confirmed to be releasing on January 15, 2019, giving players of the series the anticipated third (and penultimate) chapter of Clementine’s story.
Alongside the trailer revealing when we can expect the third episode of The Final Season, the trailer also revealed that the new team at Skybound Games working on the project after Telltale Games’ closure is called StillNotBitten.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC – for a closer look at the series so far, you can check out the trailer below from the Kinda Funny Games Showcase:
