Initially a comics by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead reached cult status with its TV series adaptation starting 2010. The franchise is now known worldwide, and the Telltale Series The Walking Dead games are considered by most as the perfect game adaptation the franchise could have been granted. Telltale Games, however, ended up laying off nearly all its staff and became unable to finish the series, until it got picked up by Skybound. The final episode safely released just a few weeks ago. Many fans were touched by the stories told in The Walking Dead The Telltale Series, and later on, by the situation Telltale’s laid-off staff found themselves into, so it’s no wonder to see the Definitive Edition selling so fast. It’s a great opportunity for those who have yet to try out the series as well. Some fans also celebrated the series’ completion with their own forms of tributes.
