Fans of Ark System Works’ brilliant, beautiful, insanely over-the-top fighter BlazBlue have a new reason to fire up the old Nintendo DSi. BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale has arrived on the Nintendo DSi Shop. For an entrance fee of 500 DSi points, gamers can partake in beat’em up style combat with cute cartoon-ish versions of the characters.

The game can be played with up to four friends. There are also four game modes to enjoy, including a variation of capture the flag that makes use of Litchi’s panda bear. The stages includes redone versions of some of the levels in BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. Check out Rachel’s level in the screenshots. Fans of the series have no excuse not to indulge in this adorable spin-off. I mean just look at that kiddie Rachel.

BlayzBloo: Super Melee Brawlers Battle Royale is available as of August 2nd. Hit the break to check out the new screen-shots and artwork.
