The Witcher 3’s Ciri Cosplay Is Anything but Horribly Dull
Cosplayer Azura transforms herself into Ciri of Cintra from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still one of the best most narrative-driven games on the market even though it released almost five years ago on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It goes without saying that many cosplayers around the world take inspiration from the many diverse and appealing characters that are interwoven into the immersive storytelling aspect of the game. Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon (better known as Ciri) seems to be one of the top favorites and cosplayer AzuraCosplay is here to show us why.
azuracosplayofficial, as she is known on Instagram and with very NSFW content, showcases her Ciri cosplay with incredible attention to detail. From the silver-colored hair styled exactly like Ciri’s from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt down to the dark leather stitching, Azura certainly embodies the true essence of the princess of Cintra. What’s most impressive here is that the entire outfit is made by Azura’s own fine hands, taking hours to craft every item you see worn and that includes the leather pants, faux fur collar, Ciri’s belt medallions, the snug fitting gloves and corset and even the Ciri of Cintra pouch seen dangling off her hip.
Hell, Azura has even set herself up in a woods for her cosplay photoshoot making it seem like she’s awaiting some angry and terrifying creature to appear between the trees – that’s dedication for you. Although, in this instance, Ciri does look a lot more polished than usual with perfectly applied lipstick and eyewear, rather than her blood-soaked and dirt ridden face, but maybe this is the Ciri before all hell breaks loose? Either way, Azura has done a remarkable job and the countless hours spent on her attire have surely paid off.
For a different Ciri look, DualShockers editor Ryan wrote about The Witcher‘s Ciri cosplay in an outfit you may not have expected to see her in. Here we see Ciri in a Japanese style with kimono and katana that bursts with color and vitality. If all things Geralt is more your thing, you can check out the white wolf himself wandering the streets of Raccoon City in a fan-made mod that has appeared for Resident Evil 2 on PC.
