The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Xbox Series X Is (Literally) Too Good to Be True

While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt version of the Xbox Series X isn't real, we would buy this fan-made concept in an instant.

The Xbox Series X is around the corner, and we still don’t know a ton about it — what is the price going to be? What colors will the console come in? When can I buy it? And while those questions remain unanswered, content creators and fans are busy mocking up their own dream consoles. And I’ll be honest — I would pay almost any amount for this The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt themed Xbox Series X (that most definitely isn’t real).

This mockup specifically comes from content creator pixelstag on their Instagram. Not only can you see the version that is in the featured image above, but also a few other color swapped versions of the Xbox Series X. Check out the images below:

And while some might take it as edgy, I love the black and red aesthetic — not to mention that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is arguably the best game of the generation. If CD Projekt Red wants to work on collaborating, you can sign me up as an early adopter.

Speaking of CD Projekt Red and Xbox mashups, they recently revealed a Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X that sold out immediately. On top of that, fans have been thinking up ways to merge Cyberpunk 2077 and classic consoles, including this brilliant take on a CDPR Game Boy.

The Xbox Series X is set to launch sometime in Holiday 2021, though we don’t know the exact date or price point. Meanwhile, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s a must-play game before the next console generation, so feel free to grab a physical copy via Amazon to help support DualShockers. Meanwhile, make sure to follow pixelstag on their dedicated Instagram for more artwork.
