The Witcher 3’s New Game Plus Not Coming This Week; Direct X 12: “You Never Know What the Future Holds”

on August 13, 2015 4:57 PM

If you’re waiting to replay The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt thanks to the upcoming New Game Plus feature, you’ll have to wait a little longer, as community coordinator Marcin Momot clarified today that it’s not going to be released this week.

“It’s not happening this week guys. But still… it’s really close.”

Also, Momot teased upcoming information about the expansion packs:

“A little bit more patience. It’s only a matter of time until we start sharing information about the expansion packs. :D”

Interestingly, he did not deny the possibility of a DirectX 12 implementation, even if he didn’t make promises either:

“At the moment I don’t know about it, but you never know what the future holds.”

Incidentally (and don’t keep reading if you’re allergic to very mild spoilers), we also get a clarification about the Woodland Spirit’s trophy. If you want it, you have to kill the creature. If you choose not to kill it, you won’t get it at all. It’s not a bug, but it’s by design, and it actually makes perfect sense.
