It’s time for some Monster Slaying in The Witcher mobile game.

You have finally made the leap into the Witchery world of Monster Slayer and, I’m guessing, you’ve had enough of playing indoors, too. There’s no doubt about it, this AR title will surely keep you on your feet but what happens when you want to change a quest’s location?

In my own experience with The Witcher: Monster Slayer, picking a new location for a quest wasn’t always a simple progress. I found that some quests were located in areas that were inaccessible and when trying to choose another quest instead, it would notify me that “I was too close to relocate” proving somewhat difficult to push forward.

However, if you have also found yourself in the same situation or maybe you merely fancy a totally different quest path, here’s how you can change it.

How to Change your Quest Location in The Witcher: Monster Slayer

On the main screen of your game with you standing at your location surrounded by monsters, press the yellow up arrow at the bottom of your screen. From there, you’re presented with a menu that includes bestiary, inventory etc but you’ll want to go to the journal.

You’ll see two tabs at the top of your journal – Quests and Glossary so make sure you are in the quests area. Click on your current active quest, and from there you will now see the options to relocate that specific adventure to somewhere else.

If you find that you’re too close to relocate and you can’t switch it out nor actively complete the current quest so you can move on, try pushing the slider at the top of the page “Set this quest to active” to the off position and back on or shutting down the game which might reset it but this method may not always work.
