Coming off its original announcement some time ago, Netflix gave us our very first look with cast photos, a poster, and more from its anticipated The Witcher series, and with Comic Con around the corner, it seems like we won't have too much longer to wait to see more.

Following the recent drop of new characters photos and more from the series, Netflix has announced that The Witcher series from the streaming network will be making an appearance at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con 2019, with a panel scheduled in Hall H on Friday, July 19 at 2:15pm. The panel itself will feature the show's three lead actors -- Henry Cavill, Anya Cholatra, and Freya Allan -- along with showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich.

As Hall H is the largest panel space in all of SDCC, it's to be expected that this will be a pretty big panel for a highly-anticipated series. With the show set to premiere later this year, it also seems likely that we may potentially get the series' first trailer during SDCC to give attendees a look at bringing The Witcher universe to the small screen, as Comic Con would be the perfect opportunity before its debut.

Based on the new photos that arrived from the series yesterday, so far it seems that the show's production team and creative team have done a faithful job at bringing the beloved franchise to the small screen. But given that the show seems to be adapting the books rather than being based on the well-known games series by CD Projekt Red, it remains to be seen just yet how the TV series will adapt the story and characters to an episodic format.

Netflix's The Witcher series is currently set to premiere sometime this fall on the streaming network.
