The Witness' PS4 Version Done and Ready for Testing; Linux Version Not Considered For Now

Jonathan Blow’s lovely-looking The Witness is just five days away from its release on PS4 and PC, slated for January 26th, and looks like the PS4 version has just been completed, according to the developer.

Unfortunately, if you hope to play the game in Linux, this isn’t going to happen any time soon, according to Blow.

It’s honestly hard to blame Blow for that decision, especially considering the size of the team working on the game. Hopefully testing will go smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the game on the 26th without issues.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
