The Wizards Exits Early Access, New Screenshots and Trailer Released

Carbon Studio's enchanting virtual reality game The Wizards has finally left the Early Access phase and is available now for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.

Today, indie developer Carbon Studio announced that its latest project The Wizards is leaving Early Access along with some new information for the title.

According to the press release, with the game departing the Early Access phase, the full release delivers a more authentic wizarding experience for players. Additionally, to coincide with its release, new stages, epic boss fights, empowered spells, and Steam achievements have been added to the game.

Initially released in mid-2016, The Wizards is a virtual reality action-adventure game for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. In The Wizards, players portray a young wizard who embarks on a quest to save Meliora, a fantasy land full of magic and mythical wonders. Throughout the game, players will travel through time, partake in epic battles and discover alluring locations. Several distinctive features in the game include an exciting spellcasting mechanic, which allows players feel like real-life wizards.

Additional features worth noting in The Wizards include free movement and free teleportation locomotion, NVIDIA VRWorks integration, Arena Mode, which allows you to fight nonstop battles, and six elemental-based spells which you can upgrade throughout your adventure. On top of that, there is even a left-handed mode for all you lefties out there.
