With its original reveal a few years ago, The Wolf Among Us 2 was easily among one of the most anticipated games on the horizon from developer Telltale Games. However, with the studio's untimely end, the hopes of seeing a second season for the beloved episodic series quickly came to an end, though it appears that the game is, in fact, still going to become a reality.

During The Game Awards 2019, one of the final announcements of the night came with a surprise announcement that The Wolf Among Us 2 is seemingly alive and still in development, with a new teaser trailer re-revealing the game at the awards ceremony. While the teaser itself is brief, the trailer confirms the return of the series' iconic faces like Bigby Wolf and Snow White, and hopefully will continue the story that was left off from the series' first season.

Following the release of the new teaser trailer, it was confirmed that the development of The Wolf Among Us 2 is resuming under developer AdHoc Studio in collaboration with LCG Entertainment, which is "doing business as Telltale Games" following its acquisition of the company's name earlier this year. AdHoc Studio is reportedly composed of "former Telltale Games employees," and seemingly will pick up from where the second season of the series left off its development following the closure of Telltale Games.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is currently in development - for a closer look at the game, you can check out the reveal trailer from The Game Awards below:
