Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Will Have over 50 DLC Songs

If there’s one thing fans hold dear from the Final Fantasy franchise, it’s the iconic soundtracks. Nintendo 3DS rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy brings all of together for a battle-royale set to the classic beats of series favorites like “The Man With the Machine Gun” and “Dancing Mad.”

While the game won’t cover the entire Final Fantasy music library, it will have more songs than you can shake a mage’s staff at. Producer Ichiro Hazama recently told Dengeki Online that the production team plans on releasing over 50 additional songs as downloadable content.

That’s three or four songs per game! The DLC songs will be stored on an SD card, eight of which will be available for 150 yen ($2) each alongside the game’s release in Japan on Thursday.
