If you've been wondering when you can get theHunter: Call of the Wild on consoles, then wonder no more. Today developer Expansive Worlds, and Avalanche Studios, the publisher behind the popular Just Cause series, announced that the upcoming first-person hunting game will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 2nd, 2017.

In theHunter: Call of the Wild, players will be able to explore over 50 square-miles of the game's open world landscape. Players will also have a variety of different creatures to hunt, including deer, bison, and more. If you don't want to play the game by yourself, then you'll also be able to connect with eight other players in both competitive and cooperative game modes.

The console edition was originally revealed back in May. This version of the title is set to include the base game, as well as Tents and Ground Blinds DLC, and the ATV DLC.

theHunter: Call of the Wild was originally released on February 16th, 2017, and is also available on Windows PC. While the PC version of the game costs $29.99, the console version will run players $39.99.
