THQ Nordic announced today that it will help Expansive Worlds and Avalanche Studios bring theHunter: Call of the Wild to retail when the PS4 and Xbox One versions release this fall in North America, South America, Australia, and New Zealand.

The game will also be available at retail in a few other undisclosed regions, but the aforementioned ones are the only places where THQ Nordic is handling the physical release of the title. theHunter: Call of the Wild released back in February on PC, and was recently confirmed for a console release. and features a 50 square mile open world for players to explore in this hunting simulation game.

Players are able to hunt animals such as deer, bison, black bears, among many others. You can play alone for an isolated hunting experience, but theHunter: Call of the Wild does have cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes that support up to eight players.

Pim Holfve, CEO of Avalanche Studios, had the following to say about working with THQ Nordic:
