Now if you are a veteran Souls player, you might be well aware of the fact that there are multiple endings in these games. Bloodborne had three endings while Dark Souls 3 had four different endings. Sekiro also had some unique stuff when it came to the endings, and the bosses you encountered towards the endgame were dependent on the ending you chose.

Theory Connects Elden Ring Endings With Bloodborne & Dark Souls

When it comes to Elden Ring, there have been mixed opinions about the game's lore so far. While some consider it to be one of the best in the genre, others believe that it falls short of the benchmark set by the likes of Bloodborne. Players are coming up with their own theories to make sense of the endings in Elden Ring, and two interesting theories have linked the game's ending with Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

The first theory (courtesy of u/NorthTomato5292) states that the events of the Lord Of The Frenzied Flame ending could lead to Dark Souls. This is due to the fact that the flame which appears towards the end is similar to the First Flame in Dark Souls, and the setting of the world covered in ashes is similar to the description of Age of Ancients from the Dark Souls lore. Lastly, when players get the Frenzied Flame Seal from Hyetta, her eyes melt. The Dark Souls 3 Firekeeper is blind as well, and when they get back their vision, they talk about flames, which again links back to the Frenzied Flame.

The second theory (courtesy of u/RirinDesuyo, u/ZetaPrimeG1) states that the Age of Stars ending could be linked to Bloodborne since it involves going beyond the Erdtree. Moreover, the fact that Ranni and Rennalla are focused on the moon magic further hints towards a link towards Bloodborne considering how important the moon is in Bloodborne.
