This morning Blizzard announced that there will be no Blizzcon in 2012. The convention, indigenous con stomping-grounds for World of Warcraft fans, will be taking a break and is scheduled to return in 2013.

Blizzard has blamed a “jam-packed schedule” as their reasons for cancelling the convention, as the studio is currently working hard to get Diablo III out, as well as Titan, WoW expansion Mists of Pandaria, and updated to StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

This is actually a pretty wise move, considering that games currently in development that have been sitting on the company’s plate. Are you sad to see Blizzcon cancelled? Or would you rather have Diablo III?
