Blade & Soul is already known for not being exactly chaste in its character and equipment design, especially due to the fact that its Art Director is the talented Korean illustrator Hyung-tae Kim.

Of course now that it's summer even more skin is going to be shown in the game, and NCSoft released a set of swimsuits that leaves very little to the imagination.

The heads of the internet pundits aren't the only thing that's going to explode when seeing the screenshots and trailers below (mind you, they wouldn't have much of a point, as the sexualization featured is quite gender-agnostic), but the wallets of those that will want to purchase the swimsuits on the Korean servers of the game are going to receive some serious damage as well, as the male and female sets cost 50,000 Won, that translate to about 45 bucks.

Luckily it's also possible to obtain the costumes in game by grinding daily dungeons for the duration of a summer event in order to drop rare slices of watermelon, but getting enough doesn't seem easy, and there's a quantity and time limit in place.

You can check out the swimsuits in the two trailers below and in the gallery, while we wait for NCSoft West to give us some news about the western release of the game. After announcing it last year and opening an official website, they've been dreadfully silent for eight months.
