If you want to see more of the upcoming PC port of Raise of the Tomb Raider, that is going to hit a computer near you on January 28th, some screenshots appeared today on NeoGAF, courtesy of user jim2point0.

The screenshots actually have been taken at a custom resolution, and using external tools, so it's unlikely that the game will look this good on everyone's PC, but they definitely are a joy for the eyes.

Here's a summary of the method and tools used to taje the screenshots, that yu can enjoy in the gallery at the bottom of the post:

Rendering: Custom resolutions @ ~40megapixel

Antialiasing: Two-pass colour-based offline AA

Methods: Free camera w/ FOV and rollIn-engine tonemapping and depth of field control

Tools: Debug build supplied by Crystal Dynamics, Assembly hacks for Aspect ratio correction, SRWE for high-resolution hotsampling
