Today independent developer Terrible Toybox announced that its point and click game Thimbleweed Park will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch sometime in September.

In addition to the announcement of the release window, the company also revealed that the Switch version will support both Joy-Con controllers and touchscreen control, so that players will have a more seamless experience no matter what type of mode they are playing in.

It was also confirmed that the upcoming PlayStation 4 version of the game will also include some exclusive DualShock 4 features, however what these are has yet to be confirmed.

Finally, a brand new trailer for the Nintendo Switch version was released. You can check it out at the end of the article.

Back in June, the game received an update which added new dialogue, and a new hint system. It's unknown whether or not this update will be included in the PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch editions when they launch.

Thimbleweed Park was originally released on March 30th, 2017, and is available on Windows PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One. The PlayStation 4 edition is set to be released on August 22nd, 2017. iOS and Android versions are also in development, but details on these are scarce.
