Created by the minds behind classic adventure games such as The Secret of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion, the upcoming point-and-click game Thimbleweed Park will introduce players to a big mystery behind a smalltown murder case, with the title officially set to launch at the end of next month.

Thimbleweed Park has officially been confirmed for release on March 30th, 2017 for Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux, in a press release from developer Terrible Toybox, which comprises of creators Ron Gilbert, Gary Winnick, and the remainder of the development team on the project. The title is also planned for release on iOS/Android and PS4 (which will launch later this year), and the developers have previously expressed interest in a version for Nintendo Switch, though that's currently up in the air.

While the title had an earlier release window of Spring 2017, the press release confirmed that the game's investigations will begin at the end of March, marking over two years since the game was announced and successfully funded in a Kickstarter campaign, with the game pitched as a spiritual successor to classic point-and-click adventure games of old.
