Hideo Kojima’s new venture into independent development definitely prompted many fans in displaying their artistic fans, and one of the Japanese arts perhaps less known among westerners is that of bento decoration.

Bento is the typical Japanese lunchbox, and true to the principle of Japanese cuisine that food has to be a feast for the eyes as much as for the palate, it often comes decorated and arranged in colorful and creative ways.

Twitter user hagane☆創るッ! definitely went above and beyond the call of duty with this Death Stranding-inspired bento, that was retweeted by Hideo Kojima himself.

It would almost be a pity to eat it.
