If you love all things Kingdom Hearts, you might want to consider this replica chess set for a hefty price tag.

The Kingdom Heart community is bursting with entheastic and die-hard fans who have been playing through the franchise since it was first released in 2002. Last year, the Kingdom Hearts series had shipped more than 35 million copies worldwide which is certainly not a surprise.

Along with the games, merchandise like soundtracks, figurines, companion books, light novels, a collectable card game, and a manga series has seen the light of day but there's one more thing that KH fans can add to their collection.

Inspired by the iconic Xehanort and Eraqus scenes in Kingdom Hearts 3 where they both go head-to-head with one another, players can now own their very own piece of the game in this extremely detailed Alba and Ater chess set.

Although you'd probably have to be a pretty big Kingdom Hearts lover to want to spend the $699 price tag, it sure would look pretty sitting in your home for everyone to see. The only downside, other than the price, of course, is that you can't actually play a game on the chessboard since it's purely for decorative purposes.

The Kingdom Hearts chess set comes with detailed chess pieces, 16 light and 16 dark that embody a character from the Kingdom Hearts series. If you have your eye on this for a nice Christmas present, unfortunately, the chess set won't be shipping until June 2022 but it's definitely something worth waiting on for any KH aficionado.

You can check all of the details over on the Square Enix store.Â
