This Lollipop Chainsaw Video is All About Scoring (The Musical Kind)

on March 30, 2012 5:15 PM

Lollipop Chainsaw, the game where you’re encouraged, nay, required, to dismember hordes of zombies with the titular gas-powered lawn tool, has an extensive licensed soundtrack. On top of that, Jimmy Urine of Mindless Self Indulgence has composed an original score to go along with the zombie-tearing fun.

Of course, when it comes to writing music to accompany such graphic content, you’ve just gotta create a making-of video, right? It’s almost obligatory. Well, we’ve got it embedded for you after the jump. You’ll hear Jimmy talk about how the soundtrack came to be, what elements of the world influenced his decisions and get a bit of a sneak peak at his character, the bass-playing un-dead Zed. Be warned: The camp value is extremely high. Oh, and it might be NSFW.
