This War of Mine Anniversary Edition Gets Free Weekend and Discounted Price

In celebration of its upcoming game Frostpunk, 11bit Studios announced This War of Mine Anniversary Edition can be played for free until April 8.

Today, 11bit Studios announced the extended version of the 2014 game This War of Mine will be available for free via Steam for a limited time to celebrate the release of the developer’s upcoming title, Frostpunk.

From now until April 8, you can try the game absolutely free. However, once Sunday is over, you’ll have to purchase it. If you do enjoy what you’ve played, you can pick up This War of Mine Anniversary Edition and The Little Ones DLC for 70% and 50% off respectively. The discounted price will last until April 9, giving you a day to think about your purchase.

For those who don’t know, This War of Mine is a survival game where you must control and maintain a group of civilians during a war. Since its release four years ago, the developer has continued to support its award-winning title with playable content including the narrative-driven This War of Mine: Stories DLC.

In other 11bit Studios related news, it was recently announced its newest game Frostpunk will launch on April 24, 2018.
