Thor: Bring the Thunder is True 16 Bit Glory

This week marks the launch of the Thor movie as well as a different version of the game Thor: God of Thunder for each system. The DS version in particular harkens to some old side-scrolling action, while it’s bigger brothers are more of a full 3D Action game. If that’s not enough for you, check out Marvel’s Thor: Bring the Thunder which somehow makes the tiny God of Thunder super adorable and puts him in a 16 bit side-scrolling platform game.

I’ve only played it for a little bit but it’s very enjoyable so far, and there seems to be a decent amount of content. Give it a go if you’re looking to kill some time before the midnight screening, and keep an eye out for our review of Thor: God of Thunder for the 360 (I’ve put off playing it until I see the movie to avoid spoilers).

Check out some screenshots after the break as well.
