Thousands of suspected bot users have been temporarily banned from Hearthstone as part of Blizzard’s anti-bot campaign, the company has announced.

For now, those suspected have been given temporary suspension until the start of 2015, with permanent bans to be handed out to anyone caught using bots moving forward. Blizzard states that the use of bots is in violation of the game’s terms of service.

Fair play is at the core of the Hearthstone experience, and cheating and botting will not be tolerated.
