Tim Schafer and Double Fine Dig into the Vault in Day of the Tentacle Remastered’s Making Of Video

Tim Schafer has long been known as one of the minds behind classic adventures titles such as Grim FandangoFull Throttle, and many others, while this week sees the return of a particularly beloved classic in Day of the Tentacle Remastered, where you can now see a bit of the process in recreating the classic in a new “making of” video.

Double Fine Productions released a new behind-the-scenes video in collaboration with 2 Player Productions, which shows a bit of the making of process behind the game’s remastering, including repainting and redrawing the character models/environments, and even digging through the vaults of LucasFilm to recover the game’s original data and assets.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered is available now for PS4, PS Vita, and PC – you can check out the full making of video for the game’s remaster below:
