Today, developer FuturLab -- who you may recognize as the team behind Velocity 2X -- released a new gameplay trailer for its new VR slot racer that is set to launch exclusively for PlayStation VR, tomorrow, July 25th.

According to the Brighton, England-based developer, Tiny Trax can be summed up as Micro Machines meets Saclextric. The pitch of the game is quite simple: you control tiny cars as if they are radio controlled and as they boost around your body, jump overheard, and drift around bends inches from the tip of your nose in crazy Hot Wheel track action.

The game features online multiplayer (single-races, tournaments, and leaderboards) for up to four players, 12 tracks across three environments (Outer Space, Fire & Ice, and Tropcial) and six different vehicles to choose. You can also race against bots in a single-player mode.

The game also notably features music from video game composer Joris de man, whose work you may recognize from the recent Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Developed over the last two years, Tiny Trax is apparently the brainchild of game designer Dave Gabriel who interestingly enough came up with the concept while serving as a game tester at FuturLab, and who has been intimately involved with the game's development since.

It's currently unclear how much Tiny Trax will cost when it launches for the aforementioned PlayStation VR. Below, you can check out the new gameplay trailer:
