Yesterday, publisher EA and developer Respawn Entertainment announced Titanfall 2's 8th and latest free DLC drop, dubbed Postcards From the Frontier.

Postcards From the Frontier most notably adds a new Live Fire map called Uma. Uma is said to feature tight corridors that guide combat into three arenas flanked by balconies, doorways, and windows. Meanwhile, a large central divider provides cover for short range effectiveness, with a long flank that allows opportunities for the "ur mum" kid to snipe you from afar.

A new execution called Hole in the Wall (Amped Wall), new elite weapon warpaints, and new callsign banners will also be added alongside new features modes: Aegis Titan Brawl and Aegis Last Titan Standing. Both of these modes will contain the same rules as their originals expect you'll be playing with your Aegis upgraded Titans from Frontier Defense.

Titanfall 2 - Postcards From the Frontier is poised to hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 29th. For a deeper dive into the DLC, be sure to check out EA's own post that provides just that.

In other recent and related news, the two-game series of Titanfall has surpassed 20 million players as of June 22nd. Despite this relatively impressive figure, Respawn Entertainment has said Titanfall 2 specifically should have sold better.
