Last week developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher EA announced and revealed the 6th free DLC drop for their first-person shooter Titanfall 2, called The War Games. Today, the pair unveiled the DLC's gameplay via a new gameplay trailer.

As we previously reported, the free DLC, will add one new general map and one new Livefire map. The aforementioned is called War games, and it features a crowded city landscape with civilian shops, tall buildings for window-to-window fighting, and city streets ripe for some Titan combat. The outskirts of the map feature a clean, cleared area for more Titan duels.

Meanwhile, the new Livefire map called Traffic is described as a weathered test site where much of the map is littered with dense cover, but also can be snipped in from the back and can be highly mobile between the thoroughfares.

Beyond the new maps, the DLC will also most notably add a 3rd weapon slot for pilots, a new execution called Shadow Boxing, the addition of Titan Brawl to the permanent list of games modes (Titan Damage will be displayed instead of assists), and a new featured mode: Free Agents.

Respawn Entertainment has said more details on balance changes, features, and updates will be provided in patch notes closer to launch.

Titanfall 2 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The series -- which consists of two games -- recently surpassed 20 million players, with one million active Titanfall 2 players.
