Sony is going to bring some rather big guns to the Tokyo Game Show in order to promote the PS4, but what about the Xbox One side of things? Now we know at least one prominent game that will be playable on the show floor at the Makuhari Messe between September the 19th and September the 22nd: Titanfall will be there and playable "hands on", as confirmed by the game's official twitter account.

If you don't have a chance to travel to Tokyo for the show, but live around New York and plan to attend Comic Con, the news aren't so positive on that front, as Respawn Entertainment's own Twitter account mentioned immediately afterwards that there are no plans to show the game there for now.

Will the game help the Xbox One gain more popularity in Japan than it's neglected predecessor? Japanese gamers sure love giant robots, but will they love Titanfall? We'll have to wait and see.

Update: Titanfall will also be playable at the Eurogamer Expo in London, as specified in a further tweets. Sorry New Yorkers, looks like you're the only ones missing out...
