Titanfall Will Be Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC Exclusive “For the Life of the Title”

Electronic Arts had its earnings calls today, and the company’s CFO Blake Jorgensen dropped a rather big bomb, especially in light of the rampant speculation that would see Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall releasing on other platforms down the line.

Well, it doesn’t seem to be the case: here’s what Jorgensen said, word by word:

In the case of Titanfall, it’s a brand new IP and it’s exclusive for the life of the title on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and PC

If you want to play Titanfall, looks like you’ll have to do so on one of the currently announced platforms, as apparently it isn’t going anywhere else.

It’s worth mentioning that Respawn’s co-founder Vince Zampella just mentioned on Twitter that the exclusivity is valid only for this release, and not for future Titanfall titles.
