Titanfall's Current Titan Selection Likely to Stay that Way for the Forseeable Future

Those of you who recently picked up Titanfall should get used to the current roster of titans and prepare for the long haul, because it does not look like like Respawn Entertainment will be adding any new titans anytime soon. Not only is the current roster fixed for now, but at one point, there was only titan scheduled to be released with the game.

“In order to [add a Titan] it takes so much balancing to make all the Titan abilities work with each other, and then against pilots. It’s a huge undertaking,”  Respawn’s Abbie Heppe explained in a recent interview. “Originally we just had the Atlas titans and then the team refused to add in the rest of the Titans until we were all sure that that one fitted perfectly with everything else in the game.”

Titanfall was published by Electronic Arts for the Xbox One and PC. The Xbox 360 version is scheduled to launch on March 25th.
