With Titanfall set to receive its first piece of DLC, the “Expedition” multiplayer add-on, shortly for Xbox One and PC, Respawn Entertainment and Bluepoint Games announced that the DLC and future updates to the Xbox 360 version of the game will give a bit of slightly longer wait for 360 owners of the game, but thankfully not too much longer.
In a post on the game’s official website, Respawn Entertainment detailed that since the “Expedition” DLC is currently underway on Xbox One and PC, development and updates will “naturally follow” on Xbox 360 for the title once the prior two versions have had work completed. Respawn explained in a statement on the official site:
“Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. This timing difference is due to the same response that more time was needed of finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360. Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version. We’re working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn’s updates.”
The “Expedition” DLC arrives on Xbox One and PC later in May, followed by its launch on Xbox 360 in June: stay tuned for more details on the DLC as they come up.
