As Apple's products gain popularity in the gaming division, developers will be pushing more and more out of these fun little devices to see what all they are capable of handling. Gameloft is a company known for "remaking" high profile console games for iPhone/iPod touch but for their latest offering, they are releasing a Tom Clancy classic. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard will be released from Gameloft on March 17th.

This release reveals a lot of stuff to me that I need to share. Since Unreal Engine 3 was made available to the iOS platform, we can best believe we will be seeing other major ports of games coming to the console. Not necessarily a bad thing, but looking at the screenshot filled with nothing but buttons has me a little worried. We can also guarantee more Tom Clancy games will be coming to iOS as long as this one sells. I'll admit I never play these types of games on my iPhone so if you've had experience and are glad they are doing Tom Clancy games, although not sure why they chose Shadow Vanguard, please leave us a comment and help convince me I should start playing more hardcore games on my iPhone. Check for the trailer after the break.
