Ubisoft has offered players a glimpse into the future of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, offering free updates in the coming year for both campaign and Ghost War PvP. These major updates will be known as "Special Operations", and Special Operations #1 drops on April 10.

This first update comes with Teammate Customization. The community can be to thank for this addition to Wildlands, as it was the most requested feature. This means that team outfits can be customized. Additionally, each teammate can be equipped with any item the player has unlocked for their main character.

There is also a new PvP update that includes the new game mode, Sabotage. This new platform of gameplay also comes with five exclusive maps. New weapons and perks also come with the change, as does the first new PvP class for the second year of Wildlands. PvE will also receive some content, including a free PvE mission and some exclusive rewards that come by completing special challenges.

All of this new content does come with the addition of the Ghost Recon Wildlands' Year 2 Pass, giving a seven-day early access to the sex new Ghost War classes. This pass also includes four Special Ops crates and four Ghost War crates to help add more variety to their character's image. The pass also includes an exclusive customization pack and the planned content for updates 5 and 6 from the original Ghost War roadmap. All of this content is included with the Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 Pass, and is priced at $29.99.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
