Ubisoft released a new video for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Red Crow today. It teases Hibana, one of two new Operators that will be added to the game added in that DLC.

Hibana’s real name is Yumiko Imagawa, and she is a Nagoya native who joined the National Police Academy when she was 18 years old. Eventually, she was recruited by the Aichi Prefectural Police Department Special Unit. She ended up getting the nickname Hibana, which means “Spark”, and that nickname stuck.

Rainbow Six Siege Scriptwriter Farah Daoud-Brixi had the following to say about the character:

“[Hibana is] the first female Attacker Post-Launch, we wished to create an Operator that would create fresh tactical opportunities. The versatility she offers on the field will allow for more diverse team compositions. It was this unique aspect that we found interesting both in terms of game mechanics and characterization.”

You can watch the video below. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
