Tom Clancy’s The Division is Getting a Movie; Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain Attached to the Project

Ubisoft Motion Pictures announced today that Tom Clancy’s The Division will be adapted to big screen.

They also revealed that Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain are attached to the project. Gyllenhaal’s Nine Stories Productions and Chastain’s Freckle Films will assist Ubisoft in the development of the film.

Gerard Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer of Ubisoft Motion Pictures, had the following to say about the project:

“We are excited to collaborate with Jessica and Jake, two of Hollywood’s most talented actors  and perfect creative collaborators to help bring Tom Clancy’s The Division to the big screen.”

No release date was given for the film. The Underground DLC for The Division released today for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
