Reaching the end of the year means that The Game Awards would have to be right around the corner, and as we’re quickly inching towards next week’s main event, we learned Tom Holland will be making an appearance as a presenter. Host and producer Geoff Keighley, via his Twitter page, announced that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man, and star of the upcoming big-screen adaptation of Naughty Dog's Uncharted, will be part of the awards show.

The inclusion of Tom Holland in The Game Awards ceremonies is sure to be very exciting for long-time fans of the wildly popular PlayStation series who are hoping that he will be bringing along a trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation. The long-gestating film just completed production in October so it’s possible that we could get at the very least get a teaser for it during Holland’s appearance. Before this potential update, not much has been seen from the film as it was also heavily impacted by delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Aside from a promotional image of Tom Holland in full Nathan Drake garb and an awkward photo of Mark Wahlberg in a fake mustache, not much else is know about what exactly we’ll be seeing in the final product. So naturally, seeing a trailer or a teaser dropped during The Game Awards would do a lot to feed everyone’s curiosity.
