As the beginning of the year is typically slow for new game releases, over the next two months Xbox Live seems to be whipping up a heap of surprises for owners of Xbox One and Xbox 360 by not only offering three excellent titles next month, but also bringing an additional surprise in the following month.
In a screenshot and post from NeoGAF, the lineup of games for Xbox Live’s Games With Gold program, where users can claim free games on both Xbox platforms, will be stacked with some of the best games of the past few years included.
Coming from the screenshot, the roster of Games With Gold titles for March includes Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite for Xbox 360, while Xbox One will claim Rayman Legends and an extensions of IDARB, a title currently available through the program for February as well.
Aside from a pretty excellent lineup of free games to look forward to in March, the post also showed that as a celebration of more than 100 million game copies being distributed through Games With Gold, April’s lineup of titles will include double the normal amount of games, with Xbox One and Xbox 360 to each receive twice the number of games (two on Xbox One, four on Xbox 360).
Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite, and Rayman Legends are all expected to hit Xbox Live’s Games With Gold in March – IDARB‘s free period on GWG will be extended into March as well.
